This medication may cause bone loss (osteoporosis) when used for a long time. Lifestyle changes that may help reduce the risk of bone problems include doing weight-bearing exercise, stopping smoking, limiting alcohol, and getting enough calcium and vitamin D. Talk to your doctor for more details.
If you use this medication for prolonged periods, you should wear or carry identification stating that you are using it.
Storage
